Today was the day of the release for my book Who Can Find Her? Dimes, Profiles, and Wives Book One. It had been a long time coming but it was finally published. Along the course of the production of the book I ran into so many obstacles that I don’t know where to start. Many times I just wanted to quit because the road ahead seemed too troublesome. From issues with my family to issues with the publishing house, it didn’t look like this book was ever going to come to fruition. Still though my God is faithful, even with the distortions that have surfaced recently I rejoice.
I rejoice because I could be somewhere alone, confined and unnoticeable to my loved ones who have been there for me since day one. I rejoice because writing is my passion for which I would not know what to do with myself from day to day. I rejoice because even as I create this blog post I am thrilled at where my future is going. I rejoice because God is good and there is no reason not to be thankful for all of the many blessings He has bestowed upon me, even when I didn’t deserve them.
Being an author has afforded me a great commission to share my stories with the world. In difficult times writing has been the medicine I’ve needed to get me through. With this gift, I want to continue to bring to life stories that could change lives, if not for just entertaining readers as they relate to my characters. It has been a long journey but my work has finally been released. I count every day from the creation of the first word in the manuscript as joy and hope that my readers savor the story.
UPDATE: The subsequent publishing for Who Can Find Her? was cancelled due to issues with the publishing company. This version of the book Dimes, Profiles, and Wives Book One will not be published at this time. The original version is available at here: Dimes, Profiles, and Wives
